Accenture has an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Sales leader as we rapidly expand our team across EMEA. We are looking for a people-oriented leader who has experience managing and coaching managers, building processes and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for someone to support the Functional Lead (FL) of one of 4 core functional business areas in EMEA. The role will support both team expansion and creation of operational rigour in the rapidly expanding digital marketing sales environment. Success in this position requires you to develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the ACCN Functional Lead for the business area, supporting that FL as a trusted and effective second-in-command. Responsabilities

  • Supports FL and Sales Lead in development of strategy of business critical initiatives with an in-quarter focus.
  • Collaborate cross function with other teams and function leads, Geo team in terms of scaling best practices and sales motions.
  • Proactively works and manages XFN to drive business; operations, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively works with other key internal support teams to day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvement (e.g. reporting, L&D, SP).
  • Uses analysis of current metrics to understand, Identify, surface and execute core operations and new strategic operations across the function.
  • Identifies challenges, supported with data to identify roadblocks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leads specifically (but not exclusively) on end to end ownership of operations.
  • Direct supervisor of Sales Managers; responsible for performance management of teams and of direct manager of Tier 2 PM markets Sales Managers.
  • The role will report directly to the FL and will stand in for the FL (with support from the Operations Lead) during absence (vacation etc).
  • The role will have direct reports. A limited number of SM’s for certain markets/functions will report into the Deputy. This will be designed in advance per function.
  • Prep and delivery of reporting for assigned areas.
  • Create employee engagement, career development, performance management, HC assignment and reassignment alongside FL for the function in the team.
  • Handle day to day running of the Function excluding significant HR related issues.
  • Review metrics - create and deliver any required reporting on underperforming metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and support FL to scope and commission initiatives. Then drive implementation of continuous improvement or other cross-SMB business initiatives within their functional area.
  • Ensure consistency of approach, operational rigour and timely execution of initiatives across all teams in any functional area (e.g. product adoption, advertiser incentive programs, staff incentive programs).
  • Deputies will be expected to own specific priority initiatives across the full function from time to time e.g. in-quarter churn, high priority new product launches

  • At least years relevant experience managing and coaching teams in a high paced sales environment (or equivalent).
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience in an AdTech sales environment.
  • Ability to make decisions using data with very strong analytical and proven reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferably experienced in CRM tools such as Salesforce, Office/G-Suite collaboration and presentation tools.
  • Deadline and detail oriented
