Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, Patient Growth, the Lead Director of Patient Growth – Retail RDA will be responsible for supporting, the development and accountable for the execution of the Retail Pharmacy acquisition strategy. The Ideal Candidate will have the ability to successfully prospect, analyze, negotiate, close and integrate small and mid-sized acquisitions that support the retail growth objectives. This includes building and maintaining a broad seller/broker relationship base. The Candidate will perform due diligence of potential acquisition opportunities along with reviewing and helping to prepare operational and financial analysis to support Senior Leadership review and approval.
This Director role will be responsible for a specific geography, and will partner with their respective Pharmacy District Vice Presidents, Pharmacy Regional Directors, and Pharmacy District Leaders to strategically source opportunities to add value to the region. Growing our healthy base will be an integral part of this role’s success and can only be accomplished by a strong cross functional partnership with both field and CSC teams.
The Ideal Candidate will be required to think strategically and leverage the tools and resources provided to complete acquisition diligence to create a compelling business case to gain acquisition opportunity approvals and will need to make complex decisions to create and support both short-term and long-term strategy for the organization being at the forefront of market trends, financial guardrails and operational constraints. The Ideal Candidate should also possess a deep understanding of the retail Pharmacy marketplace, including consolidation trends and PBM pressures.
This role will be required to travel upwards of 75% based on the business needs.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
