We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to join our team. As a Continuous Improvement Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our continuous improvement team to support and contribute to various improvement initiatives and projects. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in Lean methodologies and process improvement techniques.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with the continuous improvement team and value stream leaders to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Assist in conducting process analysis and data collection to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of Lean tools and methodologies, such as 5S, Kaizen events, and Standard Work.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects, including data analysis, problem-solving, and process optimization.
  • Assist in documenting current processes, creating process maps, and identifying areas of waste and inefficiency.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and presentations related to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate process improvement workshops and activities.
  • Assist in documenting and sharing success stories and lessons learned from continuous improvement projects.
  • Position will be 5-day week on site.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Software: VISIO and Minitab is a PLUS
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
