Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Client Solutions Director to join Boncom. This role is at the core of our client recruitment efforts, focusing on understanding and analyzing client needs and turning challenges into opportunities through creative agency solutions and toolsets. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in networking, lead generation, and relationship development, coupled with a knack for problem-solving and creative innovation. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, identifying the roadblocks in their customer journey, product experience, or brand strategy, and offering custom solutions designed by our talented creative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Networking: Proactively identify potential clients through market research, networking events, industry conferences, cold calls, and strategic outreach. Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities and a network of potential clients and partners.
- Client Relationship Development: Cultivate strong relationships with prospects by understanding their unique challenges, objectives, and goals. Be the main point of contact for client introductions, consistently demonstrating value and building trust.
- Customer Journey Analysis: Conduct thorough assessments of prospective clients' existing customer journeys and product experience—working closely with the Boncom research team. Identify pain points, gaps, and areas for improvement for prospective clients and partners.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with agency teams to develop innovative and tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges. Present these solutions effectively, showcasing how the agency's offerings can enhance client success.
- Pitch & Presentation: Develop compelling pitches and presentations that demonstrate how agency services can transform client outcomes. Clearly articulate the value proposition and benefits of Boncom solutions, adapting to different industry contexts.
- Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of a specific industry (e.g., healthcare, nonprofit, government, collegiate) and be recognized as a thought leader in that industry. Use this expertise to generate relevant insights and position the agency as a leader within that space.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the creative, strategy, and account management teams to ensure client needs are understood and solutions align with client goals. Play an active role in shaping the creative solutions presented to clients.
- Market Research: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in client behavior. Use insights to inform strategic decisions and proactively address emerging client needs.
- Partnership Development: Identify potential partners and organizations that can help enhance Boncom’s products and offerings for current and perspective clients.
- Client Onboarding: Guide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition to the agency’s account teams. Provide clarity on service offerings and ensure client expectations are aligned with deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in client-facing roles within advertising, marketing, or communications.
- Proven track record of successful lead generation, business development, and client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, funnel development, and product analysis.
- Creative thinker with the ability to translate client needs into innovative solutions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with an ability to influence and persuade stakeholders.
- Industry expertise in one or more sectors (e.g., collegiate, healthcare, nonprofit).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.
