What's the mahi?
This is a fixed term role to cover parental leave; 23rd September – 30 May 2025.
This is a full time role; 40 hours a week in a hybrid working environment.

You will be reporting to the People Director in Christchurch
Business Partnering - Partner with Service Group Leaders (with national teams) to support with execution of people processes and priorities as well as employment relations as they arise
Resolve ER issues quickly, identifying risks and working through them with stakeholders
Provide accurate, commercially focussed and comprehensive HR advice and deliver key People activities, credibly
Support high performance initiatives - Support and enable the achievement of a high-performance culture through influencing and coaching managers
Provide induction, exit and mobility support
Be up to date with industry trends, legislation and best practice to continuously improve
Teamwork - Provide exceptional HR support and work collaboratively with the wider People team across NZ, Australia and Manila
Mobilisation – involved with mobilising employees moving across locations (within NZ or internationally)
What can you bring to the team?
Ideally you will have experience in a similar People Consultant / HR role
You will enjoy working in a People role, and work collaboratively with an APAC People team
Skill and confidence to manage change and ambiguity by using your ability to partner and influence at all levels
You will thrive in working at pace
Your confident, engaging nature and ability to self manage will see you readily collaborating with the business
