Job Summary :

This position under the supervision of the Director, Physician Practices, manages the operational activities of assigned physician practice(s) and is responsible for the day-to day oversight/management of both clinical and administrative associates.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the management of assigned physician practice(s), operations, quality, staffing, patient satisfaction, safety, and compliance, as well as, other metrics and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
  • Assures staffing levels are appropriate to volume, orients and assures adequate training for associates, communicates timely and effectively with providers and all associates. Also resolves issues and seeks guidance and informs Director as appropriate, conducts annual and 90-day performance appraisals timely and in a meaningful way, mentors and supports staff, performs coaching and disciplinary actions in accordance with HRH guidelines and in alignment with Director and Human Resources.
  • Conducts monthly staff meetings to keep associates updated on changes and issues relevant to the practice and HRH. Also responsible for associate engagement.
  • Works collaboratively to provide leadership and management that enables the practice(s) to meet goals and objectives, assures a safe, clinically effective, and high-performing environment.
  • Maintains a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and commitment, embodying Hendricks Regional Health's core values.
  • As a member of the management team, serves as a leader and demonstrates commitment to education and sharing of knowledge.  Initiates suggestions to management to increase efficiency in the practice(s).
  • Ensures compliance with regulations and standards of performance of quality care and efficiency.
  • Performs other responsibilities as needed.

    Educational Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or health care related field required
    • Three years of management experience in an outpatient care setting or a combination of education is preferred
