This is a full-time continuing position with salary in the range $98,582.63 - $107,349.47 (HEW 7), plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

Based at our St Lucia campus
As a Business Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving efficiency and innovation within the Library. You'll work closely with library teams to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and implement new technologies. You'll also support business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, system implementation, and reporting.
Key responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with business units to identify and prioritize business needs and analyse business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Analyse business data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights to inform decision-making and service improvements.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of library projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and other activities to engage stakeholders and drive project success.
Conduct regular reviews of systems, services, and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
This role requires a collaborative and adaptable professional with experience in business analysis, service design, and stakeholder management, preferably within knowledge-intensive environments, who values evidence-based decision making and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong understanding of business analysis techniques, including process mapping and requirements gathering.
Ability to analyse complex systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in managing projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results on time and within budget.
Commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
You must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment, and may be required to complete background checks including, criminal history and education checks. Employer sponsored work rights are not available for this appointment.
