POSITION OVERVIEW:

We currently have an opportunity within our Global Corporate Credit Group to support the Corporate Credit team in the underwriting process and assist in the ongoing monitoring of credit assets.

This position offers an opportunity to gain knowledge of accounting, valuation, financial statement analysis    and how these individual aspects impact credit analysis across product types.

The responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to) the following:

Primary Responsibility:

The individual will be expected to assist in updating financial models, entry of financial data into internal systems, drafting quarterly earnings summaries, updating relative value spreadsheets along with other tasks required by credit analysts. This individual will be expected to communicate and coordinate tasks with credit analysts in an efficient manner.

In addition, the right individuals should be able to think critically about existing procedures and identify ways to improve via process enhancements to support data and document organization.

Key responsibilities also include the following:

  • Assist in ad hoc reporting and investor requests.
  • Prepare weekly industry updates.
  • Identify data issues and work with relevant team members to resolve.
  • Comfort working in a small team environment as well as independently able to identify, prioritize, and execute on tasks.

Qualifications & Experience

Idea candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

·      Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS financial statements

·      Candidate should have at least 2 plus years of experience.

·      Experience and comfort working in Excel and Portfolio Management Systems

·      Ability to work independently and communicate effectively to analyst in NY.

 

To qualify, candidates must have the following:

·      Previous experience supporting a financial institution or fund in data management role

·      Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an emphasis in finance/accounting/business/information management.

·         Highly proficient in English
