As the Senior Workday System Configurator, you will work closely with the HR Technology Team, and report to the Senior Manager of HR Technology. You will be the Workday lead for a project to implement a new time and attendance solution at Blue and will serve as a domain expert for Workday Timekeeping and Scheduling modules

Post-deployment, this role will provide technical support, development, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of the Workday Timekeeping module, including oversight of our timeclocks and associated timeclock software.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the successful implementation of the time and attendance solution at Blue Origin. Perform the administration and upkeep of Workday timekeeping at Blue, including oversight of timeclock integrations and software.

  • Responsible for defining and executing on technical requirements and specifications, designing enhancements, test plans, and establishing ongoing system maintenance operating rhythms

  • Mentor and support other team members in providing day-to-day support to users with systems-related inquiries and requests for support

  • Collaborate with Sr. HR, Finance and Accounting and Enterprise Technology partners to evaluate system needs and modify the system to meet changing business requirements; prepare formal configuration requirements documentation, test and deploy new functionalities and system enhancements

  • Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex timekeeping systems issues

  • Establish appropriate auditing and monitoring of HR data to ensure accuracy and data integrity with a keen eye towards regulatory compliance

  • Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments with TA systems and technologies; provide ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.
  • Recommend technical solution accounting for priorities and trade-offs, and drive alignment among stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 5+ year experience in Workday

  • High level of Expertise in the Workday environment. Must be able to hit the ground running on day 1 to support the Timekeeping project

  • Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday

  • Advanced Workday Report Writing experience

  • Experience working in ticket/case management systems (e.g., JIRA)

  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence

  • Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity

  • Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders at all levels. Strong customer satisfaction orientation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related business area is preferred
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $134,608.50-$188,451.90

Other site ranges may differ
