The Associate Product Analyst is responsible for supporting the Product Management team in analyzing market trends, customer needs, and product performance. They are aligned with the Product Manager in execution of the product vision and roadmap and acts as a liaison between business stakeholders/various SME's and the Product Management team.

Specifically for Auto, these are products related to car, powersports & recreational vehicle insurance that are either standard requests or innovation initiatives. These products can be standard portfolio or client branded / customized, and they can be sold by a manufacturer, retailer, bank & affinity group, or directly to a customer, to support growth and increase consumer sales, making sure they fit with the strategic vision and goals of the organization.
 
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? 

  • Create and maintain regular reports on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback.

  • Creates, updates, and maintains Product and Release documentation (Release Notes, System Guides, etc.).

  • Develops, refines, and documents Product support materials (Ex: Visual collaboration documents, workflows, etc.). For end-consumer by a manufacturer, retailer, financial institution & affinity group, or directly to an end-consumer.

  • Track the success of implemented solutions through data analysis. 

  • Analyze needs and prioritize projects/initiatives to product goals, including identifying customer problems, defining and prototyping solutions, developing user stories, monitoring and communicating ticket status, QA, and release coordination.

  • Analyze competitive products and market trends to provide insights on market positioning and product differentiation.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify product innovation and improvements opportunities.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to implementing best practices within the product management team.

  • Other support and duties as assigned.


What are the requirements needed for this position? 

  • 1+ years’ experience in product analysis or a related field.

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a high attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in MS Office and database programs.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing global work environment.

  • A high degree of motivation and a self-starting attitude with a desire to thrive on new challenges and to take on additional responsibility.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in preferred in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics or related field.

  • Strong relationship building skills, including an ability to influence internal & external stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines with high sense of urgency.

  • Inquisitive nature and ability to seek out information.

  • Strong organizational skills.

How much should I expect to travel? 

Up to 10% travel  

Pay Range:

$54,900.00 - $92,000.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
