About the Position:

Epic Staffing Group is looking for a(n) People Operations Partner that will who will play a crucial role in supporting key HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, HRIS Data Management, Benefits Administration, and Employee Support. This position is responsible for ensuring seamless HR processes, maintaining compliance, and fostering employee engagement while serving as a vital link between employees and HR leadership.

We focus on outsourced placement of talented and in-demand individuals in Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, Children’s Physical & Behavioral Therapy, and Interim Leadership.

Organizational Development

  • Coordination and scheduling of all soft skills training courses and issuance of related certificates to attendees
  • Back-up of HR manager in conducting new hire orientation and other necessary policy review/clarification to team members
  • Employee engagement, movements, retention and separation
  • Provides support to HR Manager on the creation of all HR documents or forms and scheduling of discussion, if applicable
  • Handles general HR email announcement for new hire, promotions, transfers and separations on the day of the change/effectivity or earlier

HRIS data management

  • Handles the monitoring of evaluation forms for new hires (1st, 3rd, 5th month) and upload in the system
  • Prepares Personnel Action Forms for review of HR Manager
  • Updates HRIS fields and upload documents

Benefits management

  • Monitor, review and complete the needed action steps to effect additions, changes, availment or deletion of the following benefits:
    • Life Events
    • Wellness/Optical
    • Health insurance
    • Life and Accident Insurance
    • SSS benefits
    • HDMF benefits
    • Philhealth benefits
  • Emergency leave review and endorsement to HR Manager
  • Bereavement leave review and endorsement to HR Manager
  • Maternity/Paternity/Single Parent/Women-related Leave review and endorsement to HR Manager
  • Manages benefits enrollment in HMO and Life Insurance – new, changes and deletion
  • Manages annual physical exam and coordinates completion with Accounting Department for business permit application
  • Handles all other seasonal benefits (uniform/jacket, holiday gifts, employee anniversary tokens, etc.)

Customer service

  • Handles all inquiry and requests sent to HR distribution email that are related to benefits, policies and training schedules, eligibility, form and other related requests
  • Escalates to HR manager specific requests or inquiries based on agreed-upon escalation matrix and procedures
  • Timely preparation of RFPs requiring HR review and endorsement to Accounting Department (Friday 12nn ET weekly cut-off to be included on the following Monday check / payroll credit processing)

Compliance

  • DOL and OSHA compliance co-chair

Qualifications:

  • College graduate in Psychology, Business Administration or similar discipline
  • 3+ years of related experience, hitting assigned HROD metrics preferably in BPO or shared services setting
  • With working knowledge on Labor Law and benefits administration
  • Must be willing to primarily work on night shift schedule unless the business needs require some changes in schedule
  • Results oriented, passionate about meeting KPIs
  • Good communication skills
  • Organized and have good time management skills
