Job Description:

Key roles and responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Develop & maintain strong partnerships with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Align HR strategies with overall business goals, contributing to the achievement of key business
  • outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on HR trends and practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team by leading and executing site-wide hiring strategies. 
  • Manage onboarding and induction processes for new employees at the site by collaborating with People Services and Talent Management and Development team.
  • Facilitate smooth integration of new joiners by supporting hiring managers both on and off-site.

Organizational Culture:

  • Champion and cultivate the organization's culture by promoting our core purpose, values, and BOLDER behaviors throughout the company.
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) initiatives at the site level, collaborating closely with the DEI&B India committee to drive meaningful change.
  • Lead organization-wide initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
  • Drive strategic change with leadership, lead development and execution of change management plans to ensure smooth transitions that inspire employees, fuel growth, and maintain productivity.

Employee Engagement:

  • Spearhead employee engagement and wellness initiatives across the site.
  • Analyze employee survey results and implement targeted HR improvements in collaboration with wider HR team for the site.
  • Partner with employee clubs such as CSR, JOSH and HSW to create and drive site-wide engagement activities.
  • Support Marcomm team to ensure consistent Internal Employee Communications on site.

Employee Relations & Compliance:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Foster a positive work environment through proactive issue resolution.
  • Monitor and enforce workplace policies on conduct, safety, and ethics. Advise on sensitive HR matters, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Collaborate with People Services team to ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations. Minimize legal and reputational risks for the site through policy implementation and oversight.
  • Prepare and submit HR reports in accordance with company standards and regional requirements. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation.
  • Ensure the site maintains a safe and healthy work environment, in compliance with all local health and safety regulations.

Talent & Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management cycle, including goal setting, regular reviews, and feedback processes by supporting HR Business Partners.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and ensure effective implementation.
  • Closely work with HRBPs to facilitate career development discussions and contribute to high-potential talent identification initiatives (talent assessment).
  • Execute talent management strategies to foster employee growth, including talent retention, and succession planning.

Talent Development:

  • Support Talent Management and Development team in the process of capability needs analysis to help identify and execute training opportunities for the site.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning across teams by tracking on relevant metrics.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to managers to improve team management.
  • Partner with Talent Management and Development team to create individualized development plans for high-potential employees.

Reporting and insights:

  • Generate and analyze key HR metrics for strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor employee turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and other critical indicators.
  • Manage exit processes, conduct interviews, and derive retention insights.
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior management, offering recommendations to optimize workforce performance and engagement.

Facility Management and Administration:

  • Assist in managing contracts and relationships with site-based vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with central procurement and vendor management processes.
  • Assist in implementation and local adaptation of SOPs that align with the central administration’s guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the central admin team to ensure site-specific Logistics and Facilities Management.
