About

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to join our team as the Senior Marketing Operations Lead. This person will lead the Marketing Operations (MOPS) function, driving the strategic vision and execution to optimise marketing performance across the organisation. As an expert in the field, the Senior Lead will set and manage operational strategies, collaborate cross-functionally to influence business decisions, and drive results through data-driven insights and effective process management. This role is pivotal in ensuring our marketing organisation operates with efficiency, scalability, and innovation to support our growth objectives. You will report to the CMO.

 

You will own:

  • MOPS Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define and lead the overarching strategy for the Marketing Operations function, ensuring the prioritisation and alignment with business goals and marketing objectives. Create scalable frameworks and processes that drive efficiency and performance across all marketing channels.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the marketing operations liaison across Rev Ops, IT, Product, and Finance to ensure seamless integration of technology, data, and processes. Influence key stakeholders to adopt operational improvements based on best practices and data insights.
  • Operational Excellence: Own and optimise the marketing technology stack, including automation tools, CRM, and analytics platforms. Ensure all platforms are effectively integrated and aligned to support broader marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Own the marketing data, from tracking and attribution to data accuracy and usability. Collaborate closely with the Data and Finance teams to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies, channels, and campaigns to guide data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Marketing Operations team. Ensure the team is aligned on strategic goals while continuously fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Campaign Management, Optimisation, and Reporting: Ensure the efficient execution of all marketing programmes by overseeing systems, workflows, and process automations. Drive continuous improvement of marketing operations processes to enhance lead generation, nurturing, and conversion efforts.

 

Key Requirements: 

  • 8+ years in marketing operations, with proven experience in a leadership role, driving operational strategies and overseeing high-performing teams or acting as a leader in your field.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce). Strong understanding of marketing funnels, lead nurturing, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, using insights to drive business decisions. Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable marketing strategies that impact overall business growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated success in driving change and improving marketing outcomes through operational excellence.
  • Strong background in developing and optimising marketing processes, workflows, and systems for scalability and efficiency. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
