The Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is growing and has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an exciting role with high visibility and access to senior leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and reporting Corporate SG&A expenses for diverse functions including Sales, Marketing, R&D, IT, HR, Legal, Accounting/Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Quality, as well as Capex spend for the entire company. This is a full-time hybrid role, and reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A.
Primary Responsibilities
Serves as the primary business partner for SG&A corporate executives and their staff; and drives the annual budget and monthly forecasts for these departments
Monthly close activities including analysis of spending trends and patterns, variance analysis and preparation of accruals/reclass entries
Monthly performance reporting of actual results vs. established objectives along with presentation of insightful business commentary
Create, maintain and enhance financial models for Finance team and executives
Work with Fixed Assets team, Project Managers and Site Controllership to ensure capex and depreciation accurately tracked and planned for
Maintain the Company’s Capex approval model and policies/procedures for Capex requests; be able to communicate changes globally

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of applicable FP&A experience (financial forecasting, variance analysis, cost/rate analysis and/or budgeting)
Basic understanding of GAAP accounting and financial statements
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Attention to detail and accuracy
High degree of business curiosity; quick learner with a proactive and agile mindset
Able to think strategically and act tactically
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Continuous improvement attitude: ambition to suggest and implement best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the medical device industry or manufacturing environments
Experience with Adaptive Planning, OfficeConnect, Domo and EPICOR, or other commensurate ERP, financial planning, reporting and consolidation tools
