CACI is seeking a Naval Aviation Logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience and expertise in the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS), Relational Supply (R-Supply), and proficiency with Microsoft products. This position is based at COMNAVSURLANT, Norfolk, VA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SME will play a crucial role in supporting training and readiness efforts, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Force Level NALCOMIS and R-Supply expert.

  • Provide training for NALCOMIS, assist in reconciling inventories, analyze databases, and recommend corrections to support LHA/Ds.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve database errors in NALCOMIS and R-Supply, offering assistance to ships during deployments.

  • Submit risk assessments for R-Supply and NALCOMIS.

  • Support LHA/D platforms by accompanying ships on their return from deployment and during local area operations, both in port and underway.

  • Provide technical expertise to supervisors unfamiliar with NALCOMIS or R-Supply processes and procedures.

  • Perform Supply Management Assessments for LHA/Ds and conduct Pre-deployment Assist Visits.

  • Assist Maintenance personnel with reconciling LHA/Ds’ ICRL.

  • Track and analyze demand data for deployed LHA/Ds.

  • Draft recommendations for supply support procedures for Marine Expeditionary Units debarked from ships.

  • Develop and deliver training on how to perform database maintenance and procedures for NALCOMIS and R-Supply.

  • Assist with the creation and transfer of Aviation Pack-Up Kits.

  • Analyze demand for the Aviation Consolidated Allowance List (AVCAL) for LHA/Ds and recommend allowance adjustments as necessary.

  • Provide guidance and assistance in loading AVCAL packages onto LHA/Ds.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Current SECRET Clearance is required

  • 12+ years of experience in U.S. Naval Aviation Supply functions

  • In-depth knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance and supply policies and procedures, including the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) CNAFINST 4790.2 series, Operational Forces Supply Procedures NAVSUP P-485, NAVSUP Inventory Integrity Standards NAVSUP P-723, and Supply Operations Manual COMNAVAIRFOR Instruction 4440.2 series

  • Extensive experience with NALCOMIS and R-Supply applications, including the ability to identify and troubleshoot data-related anomalies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Word, Excel, Access)

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • The ideal candidate would be a former senior Navy or Marine Corps professional with extensive expertise as a Naval Aviation Supply subject matter expert, particularly in NALCOMIS and R-Supply, with tours at/on LHDs, CVNs and/or MALS.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively prepare and deliver briefings, as well as conduct both individual and seminar-style training sessions.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$56,000-$117,500
