The Talent Acquisition Section Manager sits within the TA COE and is responsible for all recruitment activity within their geographical or business unit scope and is a member of the regional TA Leadership team.     

Key responsibilities:

  • Leads the TA strategy and agenda for Mainland Europe

  • Manage and coach team

  • Drives a direct sourcing strategy within their business unit / entity through utilising direct sourcing channels to source and screen candidates

  • Will manage and own requisitions from start to finish

  • Will conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers

  • Will determine the appropriate sourcing channels to use

  • Will manage TA third party suppliers where applicable

  • Manage and coach junior TA colleagues

  • Partners with respective HR business partners to deliver high level customer service to both candidates and hiring managers

  • Partners with the GPS teams to coordinate and arrange interviews and extend offers

  • Ensures governance and alignment to the global TA process and regional policies

  • Continuously looks to improve and refine sourcing and Talent Acquisition as a function within Nissan

  • Owns and leads on TA projects

  • Manages recruitment activity through Nissan’s ATS eg Workday

  • Supports onboarding activities

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ Years of experience within a Corporate Talent Acquisition role

  • Strong knowledge of Talent Acquisition best practice

  • TA project experience

  • Team Management experience

  • Strong TA sourcing skills

  • Experience working with TA metrics

  • Experience using sourcing tools eg LinkedIn Recruiter, Job boards

  • Experience within complex, international corporate organizations

  • Experience working in a matrix environment e.g. an entity and regional level

  • Calm and resilient and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to manage shifting priorities

  • Strong rapport building skills

  • Ability to effectively partner multiple stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience demonstrates an ability to work effectively and seamlessly in a global team environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence

  • Good Excel, PowerPoint skills
