JOB TITLE   

SENIOR IVVQ ENGINEER (FOR LRT TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS)

Engineer with a professional experience (min. 3 years) in integration and test of products and complex systems.

JOB OBJECTIVE 

The successful applicant will work within a product engineering team and have the following objectives:

Planning of IVVQ activities including:

• The production of Integration and Verification and Validation Planning documents e.g. Test Strategy, Test Plan, System Integration Plan.
• Identification of resources required to perform integration, verification and validation activities (e.g. human resources, tools, equipment).
• Scheduling of IVVQ activities in a manner consistent with achievement of the project schedule.
• Execution of Integration, Verification, Validation and Qualification activities, including:
• Production of Integration and Test procedures and cases and supervision of other team member.
• Metrics collection and analysis associated with IVVQ activities.
• Management of the Integration and Test Team, encompassing task allocation and progress
  monitoring and management of the quality of the products of IVVQ.
• Taking direction from and reporting to the Department IVVQ function owner to ensure that work is performed in accordance with department policy and processes.
• Taking direction from and reporting to the project System Engineering Manager to ensure
  that IVVQ activities are performed in accordance with project plans.
• A good knowledge of English language is appreciated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing and maintaining a strong productive working relationship with the client to facilitate.
• Management of product defects.
• Management of defects between Hitachi Rail and third party suppliers.
• Establishing and maintaining a strong productive working relationship with the client to facilitate.
• Ensuring the adequacy of third party test processes (test strategies, test plan,
  test procedures, test cases etc).

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced knowledge of Linux OS, Windows.
• Advanced knowledge of networking.
• Familiarity with agile methodology.
• Knowledge of SW Bug Tracking (Jira).
• Knowledge of Requirements Management tools (DOORS).
• Knowledge of SW Testing Management (TestLink, Polarion).
• Acceptance of software from third party suppliers.
• Knowledge of the digital communications systems.
• Knowledge of the Sw Testing Tools. (e.g TestComplete, Ranorex, Selenium, Hp Quick Test).
• Knowledge of the Programming languages C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, Xml.
• Knowledge of cloud systems (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, CF4K8s)
• Knowledge of Embedded devices, Wirings, Electronic boards, Schematics.
• Knowledge of the European Standards CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129.
• Familiarity with Measurements tools Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter.

Technical & Professional:

• Experience of leading IVVQ activities.
• Experience of the production of IVVQ planning products e.g. Test Strategy, Test Plans,
  Procedures/Test Cases.
• Previous experience of team management for a complex project.
• Experience of reporting progress.
• Experience in the use of metrics.
• Experience in the use of automatic test tools.
• Experience of customer user acceptance testing.
• Experience integration and test processes.
• Experience of monitoring and controlling budgets.
