Technical Engineer - Building Management Information - Irapuato

Managerial full-time position 

Start date: As soon as possible. 

Location: Irapuato

Work schedule: Full-time with flexible working hours 

Profile: Technical Engineering, Engineering degrees preferred. 

 

Qualifications: 3 to 4 years in similar roles as Technical Engineer.

Your role as BMI Technical Engineer: 

Delivery & Service:  

  • Deliver validation processes for current and future BMI projects. 

  • Lead and issue installation (IQ), qualification (OQ) plans/reports, PSU items, and schedule. 

  • Lead and issue all the documentation package (Tech Doc) related to BMI projects. 

  • Lead and issue Technical Memorial Description documents related to BMI projects. 

  • Understand and interpretate the mechanical and electrical drawings related to BMI. 

  • Deliver the success criteria of projects related to BMI, e. g. GPRM2, MTBF, MTTR. 

  • Contribute with Platform on Vendor Acceptance Tests related to BMI projects. 

  • Contribute with VAT reports, Design & Construction checklist, Induced Failure Test, etc. 

  • Be part of the BMI Platform and understand/implement improvements locally. 

  • Contribute with Platform/Vendor on Design reviews related to BMI projects. 

  • Support Operations with technical consultancy related to BMI machine. 

  • Be responsible for the BMI Obsolescence program at the site. 

  • Support the Technology Transfer & Training related to BMI. 

Safety and Quality:  

  • Comply with Company safety requirements and local regulations from Mexico. 

  • Follow CBA 2050, 2052, and KEA Power standards. 

  • Follow Change Management process of the site. 

  • Contribute with Overall Risk Assessment related to BMI machine. 

Capability and Moral: 

  • Ensure 1:1 with your manager. 

  • Follow the Skill Matrix of the site. 

  • Key player to guarantee the Good Manufacturing Practices in the manufacturing products. How? Giving feedback on the change controls, during the design stage, owning the action plans derived from investigations of quality events, deviations or nonconformities on the area of operations, and finally, respecting and supervising compliance with the standards of cleanliness, behavior and clothing established in the different areas.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Eligible to work in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. 

  • Engineering Graduation (Mechanical, Electronical, others). 

  • With 3 to 4 years of experience in similar technical roles. 

  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results. 

  • Operate with technical excellence while collaborating effectively with others. 

  • Strong leadership, innovation, and interpersonal collaboration skills. 

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
