Job Description

We're looking for an Associate Program Manager to support our Category Marketing team with sourcing priority products for photography. In this position, you serve as liaison between WFM marketing and cross-functional stakeholders to create high-value partnerships. You'll work closely with the operational areas and store support (corporate) teams to understand key business / communication objectives and prioritize opportunities accordingly.

This position is based in Austin, TX (550 Bowie St).
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with merchandising and internal marketing teams
  • Manage promotional asset build out using proprietary promo tools for deployment
  • Identify photography needs and manage shot lists across both program and promotion workstreams
  • Facilitate product sample process with contracted photo studios and project management team
  • Ensure accuracy across all program and promotion deliverables and assets.
  • Support execution of assignment monthly & evergreen category programs & initiatives
  • With guidance, learns to perform various functions in support of category and promotional activities, including:
    • May attend promotional coordination meetings
    • Engaging with Team Members to understand promotional project timelines and objectives
    • Engaging with marketing and communications teams to develop / apply marketing tools and ensure proper production and placement of marketing collateral
    • Writing briefs to support marketing and promotional activities
    • Gathering marketing research and performance metrics to help determine campaign effectiveness

Skills:

  • Familiar with marketing concepts in a retail environment
  • Familiar with how marketing and related communications strategies and tactics are adapted to varied and diverse media platforms
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Speaks, writes, and listens well
  • Well-organized, able to multi-task, and adheres to deadlines
  • Responds promptly and accurately to internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
  • Understands necessity of tailoring communication to meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Understands project review and reporting requirements
  • Able to plan and organize project activity in accordance with WFM and project-specific stakeholder expectations

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
