SUMMARY

The Project Director will assume responsibility for the overall project, including quality assurance and serves as the main point of contact with the United States Department of Labor relating to contractual obligations.

This is a Part-Time position.

As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.   

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. 

Must have government contracting experience and familiarity with Federal grant regulations and laws.

Extensive experience in creating technical training content and materials related to Indian and Native American workforce initiatives, according to client specification and the ability to make recommendations for improvement.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

Manages, plans and coordinates the full project life cycle per contract specifications. Serves as a focal point  and provides guidance and expert support. Ensures the highest quality of services are met. 

Maintains a solid customer relationship, and assures customer satisfaction with the successful execution of the project. 

Manages project scope, deliverables, cost, profitability, schedule, quality and resources.  Meets both on time delivery and budgetary objectives. 

Leads, supervises and mentors assigned staff. Provides training and direction for ensuring the achievement of maximum performance with high standards and exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.

Interprets contracts, ensures responsiveness and achieves successful performance; this may include subject matter and specific technical knowledge in the area of Indian and Native American workforce grantees.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.  

  

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Extensive experience in creating technical training content and materials, according to client directive and the ability to make recommendations for improvement.

Project management – establishing schedules, meets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of the project, including budgets.

Leadership skills, providing direction to a team of staff.

Ability to interpret contracts, ensures responsiveness and achieves successful performance; this may include subject matter and specific technical knowledge in the area of Indian and Native American workforce grantees

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.

The pay range for this role is $65.00 - 75.00 per hour, with the final offer amount dependent on location, skillset, and experience.
