This position directly manages hourly production employees in accordance with daily productivity, quality and safety goals. This position also ensures compliance with other plant policies including HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, etc. as well as supports both production scheduling and planned & reactive maintenance activities.
As an Operations Lead, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring compliance with all Plant Rules
Ensuring compliance with all plant productivity requirements
Ensuring operators are accountable to their job requirements
Ensuring operator staffing is appropriate for shift requirements
Coordinating/Supporting compliance with production schedule requirements
Coordinating all necessary Preventative & Reactive Maintenance requirements
Supporting plant cost control initiatives & measures
Coordinating/Supporting Plant Loss Accounting (OEE) systems
Supporting outside departments, including the lab and maintenance
SHE & Quality
Supporting all safety and quality initiatives, including performing and assisting in investigations
Ensuring compliance with all plant safety procedures & guidelines.
Coordinating/Executing plant safety training requirements
Completing/Executing all required safety & environmental inspections
Ensuring compliance with all Incident & Accident Investigation/ Corrective Action Requirements
Ensuring Workforce compliance with all plant quality procedures & guidelines.
Ensuring all production activities are performed in accordance with all ISO and GMP requirements

Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreement between USW & Ingredion Incorporated
Support salaried performance management system & agreed requirements
Support Plant Management Communication Programs (MEI, Supervisor Development, etc.)
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field OR 5 years of demonstrated effective supervisory experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
Familiar with SAP
Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills
Assertive, creative, energetic and positive thinking

Pay Range:
$78,700.00-$104,966.67 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
