This role provides the opportunity to develop extensive knowledge and skills in various areas of HR expertise within a plant setting. These areas may include Talent Practice, HR Operations, HR Services and Solutions, Site Policies, Employee Engagement, Learning and Development, HR Administration, and more. Your role may involve working on projects and initiatives at both the local and regional levels, allowing you to gain a broader perspective and contribute to the overall HR strategy and objectives of the organization.

Your Team

You will report to the Plant Senior HR Manager and support the Plant manufacturing teams.

What Success Looks Like

Partner with the Plant multi-functional team to effectively execute strategies that align with business and organizational objectives. This includes assessing, designing, transitioning, and improving work processes. Utilize various HR tools and resources to enhance organizational capability while championing the needs of employees.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment process (internal and external), which involves sourcing and screening applications to confirmation of start dates while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Daily HR Activities: support seamless Plant operations in compliance with global and local market laws and guidelines. Serve as the main point of contact for HR-related inquiries. Offer guidance and assistance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Payroll: Manage month-end payroll processing, including verifying timesheets and reviewing payroll reports to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
  • Compliance: Ensuring plant compliance by conducting investigations and providing recommendations on disciplinary actions or grievance procedures, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  • Reporting: create or prepare various reports, training/ communication materials, assets, and toolkits.
  • Employee Engagement: Leading Be At My Best team and organizing employee engagement activities aimed at fostering a positive and engaging work environment.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Human Resources or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant HR experience working, preferably in Manufacturing
  • Strong operational discipline and ownership: effectively manage resources and time to deliver on critical outcomes on a timely manner.
  • Excellent administrative skills: plan, organize, and execute necessary activities to deliver results, with proven attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: effectively work with others of diverse roles, levels, and backgrounds and build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
