We are seeking a Senior Laboratory Project Services Coordinator to join IQVIA Laboratories business in Durham, NC in a hybrid position.

As the Senior Laboratory Project Services Coordinator, you will be providing support to the Project Manager and related team members by performing routine procedures and tasks associated with the day-to-day running of projects throughout the entire study lifecycle (e.g., start-up, maintenance, and close-out). You will also be ensuring work is conducted in line with standard operating procedures, policies, and good practices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the Project Manager by attending meetings, preparing minutes and action logs, and preparing protocol-specific laboratory instructions documents.
  • Overseeing setup of protocol-specific Laboratory Centralized Monitoring requirements under the supervision of the Project Manager.
  • Performing routine tasks across assigned studies including site loading, Investigator Portal access, kit shipments, and monitoring day-to-day study performance.
  • Managing timely resolution of queries and protocol questions, issues, and escalations with internal and external teams.
  • Using status reports and monitoring tools to identify trends and provide feedback on performance.
  • Assisting with document quality control reviews and performing delegated Project Manager tasks.
  • Coordinating and communicating with relevant stakeholders, including leading Customer communications during the Project Manager’s absence.
  • Representing the company at internal and external meetings, participating in audits/inspections, and supporting study training with sites, CRAs, and customers.

What we are looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the Clinical, Medical, or Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and utilize resources effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good command of the English language.
  • Computer proficiency in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $62,400.00 - $104,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
