About the Role

Work closely with all departments to identify, evaluate and monitor key operational risks faced by AIA Singapore. The person will support all activities necessary to AIA Singapore to identify, report and mitigate key operational risks.

  • Design and implement frameworks, policies and processes to enhance the management of AIAS' operational risks.
  • Support the Operational Risk Committee (ORC) in its objective in ensuring that policies, frameworks and programs are implemented appropriately.
  • Work closely with all departments to identify, evaluate and monitor key operational risks.
  • Develop program to foster and sustain an effective risk culture/risk assessment within the organization.
  • Conduct incident investigation and work with various stakeholders to ensure incidents are managed and reported in a timely manner.
  • Review and support first line departments on outsourcing matters, including assessment of outsourcing arrangement and due diligence exercise.
  • Maintain and support risk-related management systems.
  • Support and participate in the implementation of risk-related projects/initiative.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years' experience in insurance or relevant consulting and/or auditing
  • Excellent and hands on experience in operational risk management frameworks, methodologies & tools, risk and control assessments
  • Possesses a strong risk and control management mindset, constantly paying attention to details and have ability to perform deep-dive investigation
  • Knowledge/experience in Technology Risk and Information Security Risk would be a plus
  • Possesses a positive attitude and an excellent teammate who is also able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills
