As a Senior Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrier Network Development and Management: Develop and steer a comprehensive network of reliable carriers, prioritizing efficient and cost-effective freight movement.
  • Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers to drive profitability, minimize cost, and exceed service requirements while exercising sound judgment and strategic thinking.
  • Load Tendering and Trace Management:  Book loads tendered from customers, trace loads as needed, and handle any other related duties.
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded, and building strong relationships.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams through written and verbal means, ensuring timely updates and resolution of any issues, while fostering open collaboration.
  • Problem-solving and Decision-making: Employ critical thinking and sound decision-making skills to resolve operational problems and optimize carrier performance, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Embrace a customer-centric mindset, identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting solutions to enhance operational efficiency, driving innovation and progress.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A background in transportation operations (+2yrs) or bachelor’s degree
  • Be a problem solver
  • Be customer-centric and enjoy building relationships
  • Able to learn and adapt quickly and handle multiple projects at one time
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

You will wow us if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience logistics, supply chain management, brokerage, or a related field
  • Advanced degree or certification in supply chain management or related field
  • Carrier management experience

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
