Manufacturing Engineer- LEAN Manufacturing Specialist Join our dynamic Elastomers Group and become a key player in revolutionizing our manufacturing operations through LEAN principles!
Who will you be working with?
As a valued member of our Elastomers Group, you'll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including:
- Management executives shaping our strategic direction
- Innovative engineers pushing the boundaries of product development
- Skilled manufacturing personnel on the front lines of production
Your impact will extend across multiple departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
How will you make a difference?
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of implementing LEAN manufacturing methodologies, driving our Components Team to new heights of efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing time standards for production operations
- Providing cost estimates for cutting-edge industrial rubber products
- Enhancing productivity and reducing costs through industrial engineering principles
- Spearheading LEAN initiatives and coordinating Quality Production System (QPS) activities
What do we want to know about you?
We're looking for a dynamic individual with:
- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- Passion for LEAN manufacturing methodologies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work on the manufacturing floor
While experience in rubber manufacturing is preferred.
Physical aspects of the job:
This role combines office work with hands-on manufacturing floor experience. You should be comfortable with:
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Frequent use of hands for manual tasks
