Brown & Brown's Risk Solutions team, formerly Beecher Carlson, is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the Middle Market practice in Atlanta, GA or remotely.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will drive client retention and growth by managing the delivery of strategic risk solutions and supporting sophisticated client relationships. This role focuses on service execution, documentation, and supporting the account team on large and complex accounts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client service activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of deliverables.
  • Assist clients in understanding their risk programs and help align services with their business needs.
  • Analyze client exposures and historical data to support strategy development.
  • Prepare client-facing materials, including proposals, analytics, and service plans.
  • Support senior team members in placement activities, including data gathering, submission preparation, and quote review.
  • Lead or support the renewal process, including data collection, proposal review, and client presentations.
  • Respond to client inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to resolve service issues.
  • Manage day-to-day service transactions for assigned accounts, including documentation, invoicing, and coordination of deliverables.
  • Review contracts and other documents to identify risk-related considerations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain required state licensing.
  • Participate in professional development and training activities.\
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Risk Management, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in commercial insurance, brokerage, or risk advisory roles.
  • State broker license(s) active or obtainable.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional designations (CPCU, ARM) preferred.
     

Preferred:

  • Experience with industry platforms such as ImageRight or AMS360.
