We are seeking a Client Associate to provide support to the Client Coverage team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful, experienced and established team and provide a wide range of support as they continue to develop the Iberian business from our Madrid office. This will be a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Our well-established Client Coverage Team actively covers Iberian based pension funds, banks, family offices, asset managers, insurance companies and corporations with a dynamic and solution-driven approach. This broad client base has different needs and requirements with regards to strategies they invest in and day-to-day client servicing. The Iberian team has the ability to market the entire Neuberger Berman product suite, with strategies across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives. Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Client Coverage team in their day-to-day client activity and strategic initiatives.
  • Organize prospective client related activity, including but not limited to client presentations and request for proposals. Ensure all activity follows the regulatory framework.
  • Provide essential administrative support to the Client Coverage team including data base management, maintaining the CRM system, producing pipeline activity and call reports, and assisting with Client and Product mapping to help enhance the overall sales processes.
  • Conduct market research and assist the team on appropriate business strategies and client analysis.

Key Requirements / Qualifications: (essential unless otherwise stated)

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • University/FH-Graduate or equivalent
  • MIFID II certificate, EFPA, CEF or similar (Optional)
  • A self-starter, that works in a precise and timely manner, who can take ownership to move initiatives forward
  • Excellent team player and sociable
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills
  • Result driven & ability to set priorities when working on several tasks
