Global Product Manager – DXR Software & Workflow

Location: Pune or Bangalore, India

In this role, you will own the global upstream definition, roadmap, and lifecycle of the software and workflow experience across the Philips Diagnostic X-ray (DXR) portfolio. You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle — from customer insight and concept, through development, launch, upgrades, and phase-out — for the software platforms and integrated software-hardware solutions that power our Radiography systems.

Upstream Product Ownership (Global)

- Own the global upstream roadmap for DXR software platforms (workflow automation, AI-enabled tools, Eleva UX, image chain software, connectivity, cybersecurity, OS lifecycle).

- Define software requirements, value propositions, claims, and release priorities based on global insights and segmentation.

- Translate customer needs into clear specifications and actionable development scope.

Integrated Software + Equipment Solutions

- Ensure software, workflow, and hardware features work as an integrated solution across Radiography systems (7300 C, 7000 M, future platforms).

- Guide platform decisions, architecture implications, serviceability, and upgrade pathways.

Lifecycle Management

- Lead the full product lifecycle: concept, development, launch, sustaining, upgrades, and end-of-life.

- Define upgrade strategies (e.g., CoreRenew10) and long-term support commitments (e.g., FutureProof20).

- Maintain compliance with regulatory, quality, and cybersecurity requirements.

Business & Commercial Leadership

- Build global business cases for software releases and upgrades.

- Lead pricing and margin optimization for software features and workflow packages.

- Monitor industry and competitive digital trends to inform roadmap decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with R&D software and systems, UX, clinical science, service engineering, and regional marketing.

- Ensure clear knowledge transfer for launch (value propositions, claims, pricing, quoting, training materials).

Required Qualifications

• Experience

  - 5–7+ years software product management experience, ideally in healthcare, imaging, workflow, enterprise, or device-integrated software.

  - Experience with equipment-based or integrated software-hardware systems.

  - Proven ability to own full product lifecycle and global roadmaps.

  - Experience working in global, cross-functional teams.

  Skills

  - Strong ability to translate customer needs into software specifications and roadmap priorities.

  - Experience driving multi-release roadmaps and managing complex tradeoffs.

  - Technical fluency to collaborate with engineering, UX, cybersecurity, and service.

  - Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  Mindset

  - End-to-end ownership, accountability, and decision-making.

  - Systems thinking combining software + hardware.

  - Ability to work under pressure and deliver to timelines.

  - Proactive, structured, and comfortable in a global matrix environment.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
