Job Summary This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The role involves analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making and enhance organizational performance. The role also includes developing automated processes and integrating analytics to drive efficiencies and innovation. Effective communication and collaboration with business stakeholders are essential to ensure alignment and successful presentation of developed solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analyzes complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Designs and implements automated data processing and analytics workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partners with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
  • Ensures data quality and integrity by implementing robust data governance and validation processes.
  • Collaborates with data engineering teams to build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of data from various sources.
  • Leads and mentors a team of BI developers, providing guidance, training, and support to junior team members.
  • Communicates project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders effectively, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
  • Represents the BI team in cross-functional projects, driving the implementation of BI solutions and ensuring their alignment with business objectives.
  • Continuously evaluates and improves existing BI methodologies, staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the field.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
