Walmart Specialty Pharmacy is a one-off business unit within Walmart; specialized in the delivery of low/limited distributed pharmaceuticals to patients throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Unlike a traditional or retail pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy manages and distributes life sustaining medicines to patients with extremely challenging illnesses. We are predominately a patient contact center, but also operate a fully functional pharmacy with an entire team of pharmacy professionals. While we are not patient facing, we are fully engaged with our customers, patients, and medical practitioners throughout the country.

We are hiring for a full-time Custodian working Monday through Friday from 7am-4pm and occasional Saturdays from 9am-3pm (two times a month) for our Orlando, FL location.

Job Duties Include:

  • Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).

  • Detail clean (for example, sweep, mop, clean spills) office, restrooms, and/or warehouse areas.

  • Maintain (for example, stock, clean, organize) and record inventory of required cleaning tools and supplies, including janitorial or supply closets and carts.

  • Stock, clean, and maintain vending and soda machines.

  • Mix chemicals used for equipment or cleaning.

  • Operate and maintain sweeper/scrubber to sweep and mop warehouse floors.

Physical Activities

The following physical activities are necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.

  •  Performs physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs, reaching, bending, and lifting objects of various sizes and weights.

  • Operates vehicles and equipment with a valid license or certification.

  • Reads information and visually inspects equipment and merchandise.

  • Moves and places items weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.

  • Uses approved equipment to access elevated areas.

  • Wears personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Working in the following environment is necessary to perform one or more of the essential functions of this position:

  • Narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise or supplies, storage areas, and closets

  • Areas exposing to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions

  • Sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$16.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
