Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, development, execution of the sustainability policies, strategies, agenda and initiatives which support the Company’s sustainability framework

  • Assist in developing sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide technical support to achieve the KPIs

  • Prepare annual Sustainability Report including organizing engagement exercise and production (including assurance process)

  • Conduct research to identify latest sustainability trends and opportunities to drive continuous improvement in terms of sustainability strategy, performance and communication

  • Conduct research on the latest global and regional sustainability/ESG trends, developments, and methodologies in related topics such as ESG risk, sustainable supply chains, sustainable finance, decarbonization, and the circular economy, etc

  • Facilitate and provide technical expertise, identify solutions, and training support to departments to ensure action plans and commitments are being delivered

  • Develop analysis and communicate sustainability related recommendations through reports and presentations

  • Actively engage and coordinate efforts with internal stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Sustainability/ Environmental Science/Energy Engineering, Public Policy, Communications, or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience with sustainability related work for sizeable companies and/or sustainability consultancies

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Capacity for critical thinking, problem solving and implementing ideas

  • Interest and passion in sustainability and drive to push ESG improvement initiatives

  • A proactive self-starter with a strong teamwork and growth mindset

  • Strong commercial awareness to understand ESG risks and opportunities to provide a valuable contribution from sustainability perspectives

  • Able to carry out both quantitative and qualitative analysis independently

  • Strong research and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to set priorities and multitask

  • Proven experience in ESG reporting, due diligence, risk and impact assessments, etc

  • Knowledge of HKEX ESG Guide, GRI Standards, UNSDG, TCFD, SBTi, CDP, ISSB, GHG Inventory and Accounting as well as ESG Rating Systems, etc

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for Specialist role
