Role Overview:

Responsible for region’s marketing strategy and execution​ to maximize marketing​ impact for district sales and ​deliver an exceptional​ F5 experience to our all customers​ in the region. Deliver joint programs to engage customers in partnership with sellers.

The Regional Marketing Manager will coordinate global, regional sales and channel resources to drive integrated programs/campaigns; collaborate on individual marketing plans; facilitate solution GTM at local levels; support cross-functional readiness and training initiatives delivered to the region; feedback requirements, suggestions, desires to APCJ/WW marketing teams; manage regional marketing budget; ensure end-to-end visibility of local program results; and ensure results metrics are tied to investment.

The Regional Marketing Manager will create regional marketing plans in collaboration with APCJ marketing regional sales management, coordinates regional marketing plans with channel account managers, and align resources and budgets to ensure success of regional marketing programs.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for Account selection and design account plays (business imperatives/initiatives)
  • Develop customer-facing marketing, execute sales & marketing campaigns and manage digital campaigns/programs
  • Close liaison with local finance organization to ensure compliance to fiscal and legal requirements

Account and Demand Marketing

  • Develop customer-facing marketing, execute sales & marketing campaigns and manage digital campaigns/programs
  • Work closely with Account Team to project manage deliverables and timeline that aligns with marketing goals and objectives with a specific focus on Account Based Marketing (ABM) program. 

  • Design, deliver and manage local promotions, events and sourcing of local vendors where necessary, etc.
  • Own the strategy for executing F5 signature events in the territory working with the theatre marketing and sales stakeholders.
  • Execute local components of geographic and corporate marketing campaigns including event activity digital campaigns, channel marketing, tradeshows, etcthat
  • Manage local marketing efforts and events to achieve maximum attendance, publicity and regional growth
  • Drive the lead management process across the region
  • Establish cadence and structure for partner marketing plans for existing Unity partners
  • Establish clear understanding and mapping of distribution and reseller in the marketing eco-system as well drive partner marketing plans working with the PAMs to optmise the MDF
  • Support marketing with emerging partner ecosystem like AWS, Azure and other cloud enabling partners as well as security partners
  • Drive marketing campaigns to support lead generation for the territory business
  • Drive triple play demand programs with Alliance Partners in the Cloud and Security space

Marketing Operations

  • Full budgetary control and reporting of quarterly regional funds as allocated by Marketing
  • Manage and ensure timely and comprehensive marketing leads follow-up/tracking and reporting
  • Manage multiple out-sourced marketing service providers both directly and remotely

Others

  • Collaborate, plan and implement go-to-market activities with key technology and business partners
  • Execute product and solution launches, building messaging for the local market, utilizing all communication channels, including partner training, local media, local user groups, other influencers
  • Participate in team meetings and other cross-functional processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • Degree in business (marketing, communications or related area) or equivalent
  • More than 15 years of successful experience in marketing, channel marketing, product management, creative direction, strategic marketing planning, or business development in a high tech industry, preferably at least 5 of those years in high-tech
  • Experience with public relations and channel sales
  • Experience with budgeting responsibility
  • Must be able to read, write and speak both Japanese and English fluently.
