The job in a nutshell

You will partner with Lead and Senior Analysts to support day-to-day operations and projects impacting the Portfolio Administration and On-Boarding team. You will be fully included in project conceptualisation, and we welcome your input in ideas on how to deliver it.

As a Portfolio Administration and On-Boarding intern you will work with clients, and client supporting teams, to ensure the smooth and timely onboarding & maintenance of all new clients and portfolios and the control and seamless implementation of all change to existing portfolios, including new product launches.

You will support the successful running of our Fiduciary business providing operational support to internal Investment and Client Management teams.

You will be responsible for supporting the timely set-up of custody and commercial bank accounts and support the review of eligible markets.

You will ensure that all system configuration relating to client, fund and broker onboarding is accurately maintained within our end-to-end portfolio management system (Aladdin Enterprise). 

This would be your future internship because you:

  • are a motivated MA student with an interest and/or background in Investment Operations.
  • a goal driven, communicative, creative person, that can combine technical and personal skills.
  • eager to learn and develop.
  • are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
  • Can join us from August/September 2024, are available for 6-12 months, 5 days a week. For the right candidate we can be flexible in this.

Who will be your new colleagues?

The Portfolio Administration and On-Boarding team is part of the Client and Commercial Operations pillar within the COO domain. The team consists of 13 professionals with different backgrounds and expertise. Portfolio Administration and On-Boarding is a global team based in three geographical locations (The Hague, Edinburgh, and Cedar Rapids). We communicate in English.

You will be located at our headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Important note:
It is required to be enrolled at a university to take part in this internship. Next to that you will need a Dutch BSN-number and Dutch bank account. If you are a non-EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan'). Applications that do not fulfill these criteria cannot be taken into consideration.
