About the Role

The Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) team is looking for a highly motivated Financial Reporting and Compliance Analyst to join a collaborative and growing team. This position will report to the ESG Controller. Through the involvement in various process, control identification, control remediation, and disclosure drafting activities, this position will play an integral part in Workday meeting the evolving ESG requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various departments, including Legal, Privacy, HR, etc. to assist them in meeting their disclosure requirements

  • Support compliance efforts and assist in training extended datapoint owners regarding the requirements

  • Compile and analyze information pertaining to ESG datapoints

  • Validate and review information compiled by datapoint owners

  • Work with cross-functional business partners to identify automation opportunities and implement as needed

  • Review and support drafting of disclosures

  • Work with internal and external teams to identify, document, review and optimize the controls needed to support accurate disclosures

  • Assist with third party limited assurance reviews, including preparing work papers, responding to inquiries, coordinating with datapoint owners, and analyzing data. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure successful third-party reviews

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business function such as Accounting or Finance

Other Qualifications:

  • Public accounting, software and/or SaaS industry preferred

  • Experience using large ERP system

  • Proficiency with MS Excel

  • Experience with tight deadlines and timeliness for work performed

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work cross-functionally

  • Eagerness to learn and tackle challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment

  • Enjoys and thrives in an environment of ambiguity

  • Experience with Smartsheet a plus


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $85,300 USD - $128,000 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $81,000 USD - $154,200 USD
