Position Overview
Collaborate with HR Business Partners to provide comprehensive support to employees and managers. Responsibilities include addressing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Additionally, analyzing exit interview data, managing Workday tasks related to termination and job change processes, and offer prompt escalation support for AskHR cases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Business Partners to provide comprehensive support to employees and managers on topics such as AskHR escalations, employee relations, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, terminations, and Workday org changes.
- Offer guidance and support to employees and managers on a range of employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with managers to implement corrective actions in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Ensure accurate updates to organizational structures in Workday, including manager and supervisory org changes, position closures, and job change requests.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee-related issues and provide recommendations for appropriate actions.
- Partner with managers to develop and execute performance improvement plans for employees.
- Address escalated inquiries concerning HR policies and assist in facilitating requests for modifications or the creation of new employee relations-related policies.
- Analyze exit interview data to identify trends and insights for organizational improvement.
- Manage Workday tasks related to termination processes, including initiating involuntary tasks and preparing severance documentation.
- Generate employee relations reports and provide strategic insights to HR Business Partners.
- Design and deliver training sessions on relevant employee relations topics for employees and managers.
- Offer prompt escalation support for additional AskHR cases as needed, ensuring efficient resolution of employee inquiries and concerns.
- Distribute and collect essential talent, performance, and compensation data to support HRBPs on midyear and key annual cycle activities.
- Cross-reference and reconcile business-specific HR data to respond to inquiries.
- Assist HRBPs with drafting communications to managers and employees on various matters, including recognition (e.g., SAP award), HR practices, follow-ups, resources, and reminders.
- Guide HRBPs and managers on transfers and internal movements.
- Manage positions and collaborate with Compensation and Talent Acquisition (TA) on leveling and salary ranges for new roles.
- Generate reports and insights for HRBPs on topics such as promotions, annual and mid-year performance reviews, headcount, turnover, open requisitions, and Ignite Your Growth/Ignite Your Leadership program progress.
- Support HRBPs with creating presentations for Town Halls, leadership team updates, and manager forums.
- Ensure accuracy in organizational charts and position management data within Workday.
- Provide offer consultations to Talent Acquisition.
- Coordinate immigration or relocation requests between managers, HRBPs, and Immigration.
- Support HRBPs with Glint analytics and implementing next steps.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to data management, reporting, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HR systems; Workday experience required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
