Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking for a Quality Manager (Multi-Family) to support Executive Transport programs. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Executes Quality Management System for business organization.
  • Manages employees performing quality Inspections and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of product life cycle.
  • Provides oversight to teams to execute strategies, plans, policies, and procedures to maintain and improve performance.
  • Provides education, coaching and ensures effective execution of the Quality Management System.
  • Manages resources, provides quality system management and lead quality performance.
  • Improvements through disciplined processes aligned with industry standards and contractual requirements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, functional stakeholders / peers, and direct reports.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the identified location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

The position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ year of experience in leading or managing cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team in inspection activities.
  • 3+ year of experience leading teams in process and procedure compliance within a Quality Management Systems
  • Experience in FAA certification or airworthiness.
  • Already holds FAA Airframe and Powerplant License or has the experience and ability to obtain FAA Repairman's Certificate

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience implementing continuous process improvement, lean processes, and employee involvement and engagement strategies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of Quality Tools, Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPM).

Summary Range $108,800 - $147,200
