The Team: You will join a creative and enthusiastic Credit & Risk Solutions marketing team that is responsible for generating qualified leads for new business and driving engagement with current clients.  

We achieve this through building clear and consistent messaging that is focused on customer needs and workflows and delivering this to market through robust, integrated marketing campaigns that comprise a diverse mix of channels including, but not limited to, digital, (social, email, advertising) events, strategic partnerships, and sales enablement. We also look for ways to constantly create outstanding and innovative campaigns.

The Impact: Your position is critical to drive the success of the Credit & Risk Solutions (CRS) team, and you will have direct alignment to all relevant client segments, whilst working with the broader marketing and operations teams to work towards common goals.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing integrated marketing campaigns to deliver the global Risk Solutions strategic marketing plan to generate brand awareness and drive lead generation. The Marketing Coordinator will provide critical support to the Senior Marketing Manager in the development of the strategic marketing plan, and the implementation of various marketing campaigns, in order to drive lead generation and engage clients in line with business priorities and targets. The Marketing Coordinator will also engage with Product and Commercial stakeholders to build a solid understanding of our customers, including target persona workflows, our solutions, the go-to-market strategies, and the global competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Marketing communications - Create all types of content aligned to the customer engagement funnel/buyer journey - including, but not limited to web and advertising copy, social posts, video scripts, email copy, and nurture campaigns using customer-focused messaging.
  • Event support & management - Work closely with the Events team to manage and assist in the execution of webinars, 3rd party and hosted events across Europe, including pre-event communication, attendee check-ins, and post-event lead processing as well as understand event KPIs; suggest opportunities for event optimization.
  • Digital & SEO – Help to optimize our digital footprint across all channels to ensure our content is discoverable and relevant to our customers’ needs. Refresh digital campaigns to include remarketing, prospecting, and display advertising.
  • Social Media - Write and edit engaging, informative, and shareable copy for social media posts, ads, captions, and headlines across S&P Global Market Intelligence platforms.
  • Metrics - Learn the end-to-end lead process, then analyze and measure the performance of each tactic and channel to maximize reach and effectiveness. Track engagement performance of our social media posts and readership of published content to help drive decisions on future topics and content mediums.
  • Cross functional teams – Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Events, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Education, Design, Compliance, Branding) to support the project management and delivery of all marketing activity and provide timely updates.
  • Sales enablement –Assist in developing sales collateral and materials to help Sales teams communicate the value proposition in line with customer workflows and the diagnostic selling approach.

What We’re Looking For

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or MBA Degree (Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience working in a B2B marketing role or equivalent experience in the financial services sector.
  • Foundational understanding of the industries and markets covered by S&P Global Market Intelligence
  • Strong experience writing marketing copy that clearly communicates content focus, or a product’s benefits and unique selling proposition
  • Excellent communication skills (oral/written).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Marketo marketing automation a plus
  • Strong organizational skills required to prioritize multiple work priorities and projects concurrently and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changeable environment, and to collaborate with others beyond one’s reporting line

  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant client segment personas and the S&P Global Market Intelligence Credit & Risk Solutions products/solutions that support their workflows
  • Can do attitude and excellent communication skills
