We are seeking passionate, innovative professionals for developing solutions for the advanced compensation module in Workday.  In this role you will have a unique opportunity to redesign the compensation cycle and harmonize the use of compensation globally by implementing bonuses, merit, and allowances.  You will partner with the Total Rewards and People Solutions teams in HR by guiding the implementation process through Workday best practices to build a best-in-class design that is fit for purpose.

This role will be a part of team of engineers specializing in Workday.  You be the expert in the overall design of the Workday Advanced Compensation module.  You will have the opportunity to educate your peers on the knowledge of the design to ensure it is well supported and integrated to the overall Workday architecture.  It is important that you possess strong stakeholder management skills to manage competing priorities and business expectations.  Understanding key IT concepts like agile development cycles and designing solutions with Workday security in mind are critical to the success of this role.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Owning the design and implementation of the Advanced Compensation module in Workday aligned to HR compensation business processes.

  • Conduct peer reviews of design, implementation and execution of procedures in Workday.

  • Leading conversation with HR and business analysts on the features and capabilities of Advanced Compensation to drive to solutions that are not custom.

  • Independently identify, troubleshoot, and analyze and resolve complex HR compensation issues.

  • Developing all changes required to run yearly compensation cycle around the globe partnered with HR People Solutions and Total Rewards team.

  • Creating BIRT reports for employee compensation statements.  Report data will vary based on employee grade and location.

  • Provides solutions to integrate and segregate data for M&A activity.

  • Develop and implement roadmap of enhancements for the compensation module including implementation of Workday releases.

  • Educating teams on released Workday functionality and the benefits of implementing the functionality.

  • Assess, monitor, and test Workday to ensure compliance with global policies, procedures, and IT standards.

  • Sizing, designing and implementing enhancements in an agile methodology.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in Advanced Compensation required.  Related experience and/or education may be considered.

  • Previous experience working in a regulated company desired.

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry desired. 

  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

  • This role may have remote flexibility.  The preference is for the role to be based in Canonsburg, PA or from a location on the East Coast of the US.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $78,000.00 - $152,000.00 USD.
