About the team and the role: You will be joining the Global Facilities Operations team as the Authentication Training Manager, reporting into the Senior Operations Leadership Team.  You will provide leadership & professional development to the global training team and create & maintain the robust training infrastructure needed for the Authentication Operations team to drive world-class results for eBay sellers and buyers.  You will also partner closely with global site leadership to ensure the effectiveness of training programs and of the training team.  

What you will accomplish: 

  • Lead a 12-15 member team through daily training activities & tasks.

  • Oversee all aspects of instructional design, program management, facilitation, and experience creation.

  • Collaborate with Authentication Operations leadership to develop robust long-term training strategies.  

  • Direct the creation & global standardization of product line & brand specific training content for new & existing authenticators; Collaborate with AG Operational Excellence leader to enhance effectiveness of standard operating procedures for non-authentication facility processes.  

  • Ensure that individual training is tracked & recorded timely & effectively; Provide guidance to global site leadership on the execution of new & refresher training requirements. 

  • Analyze & understand relevant data sets to drive improvements within the training & operations spaces.

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in learning strategies and curriculum & content design.

  • Demonstrated success in training design and program implementation in an operational setting.

  • Experience working globally in high growth, fast paced and change environments.  

  • Strives for continuous improvement and actively pursues operational excellence, rigor, and process definition. 

  • Ability to hire and develop a team of direct reports that build relationships with leaders & associates within their buildings and with their global peers. 

  • Ability and willingness to travel 20-25% of the time, including internationally.
