About the role:   

The Manager Supply Chain Governance is responsible for developing and implementing governance processes to enable the end-to-end procurement process. This position is responsible for coordinating the quarterly and annual global category strategy development and review process, as well as supporting identification of the key cost reduction initiatives pipeline, in partnership with the FF Workstream Lead.

  • This role is accountable for driving policy, standard and guideline reviews to ensure compliance with FIS policy framework, in addition to developing and delivering education and awareness activities to enable understanding across Supply Chain Management.

  • This role is expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders across SCM and other process and risk partner groups within FIS.

  • The Supply Chain Governance and Supplier Value Management team is responsible for overall governance, risk management and oversight of supply chain processes and the supplier management program.

What you will be doing:

The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Leads Category Strategy governance including developing/maintaining templates, coordinating quarterly and annual reviews, identifying follow actions and driving closure

  • Leads BU Engagement governance including maintain model and assignments, developing/maintaining templates, monitoring formal reviews, soliciting feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Leads Material Deals Governance process

  • Coordinates annual and periodic SCM policy reviews and works with Policy Office to enable approvals

  • Maintains supporting Procurement Guidelines, ensuring alignment to policies and coordinating reviews and approvals as needed

  • Develops and implements education and awareness activities and materials to ensure understanding of processes and procedures across SCM

  • Partners with Innovation & Excellence team to maintain policy & procedural content in SCM FIS&Me environment

  • Maintains core process tools and templates in the SCM Toolkit, identifies, develops and implements new tools in partnership with the Innovation & Excellence team

  • Maintains Category Schema and associated accountability matrix and assignments

  • Interface and build strategic relationships with key stakeholders locally, including business leaders, Finance leads and Legal

  • Gain a thorough understanding of SCM business strategy and requirements, to maintain category and BU governance approach

  • Build and maintain awareness of external marketplace and industry trends related to supply chain best practices, in particular relating to governance and risk management

What you will need:

  • Strong communication and influencing skills and ability to interact with multiple levels of the FIS organization

  • Experience in program management, governance, operational risk, audit or assurance, ideally with particular focus on procurement and/or supplier management processes

  • Ability to identify, document and implement processes to monitor key controls

  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and assess key drivers of success, implications of alternatives and recommendations for execution

  • Relationship skills with ability to collaborate and influence across levels with internal and external partners

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Project Management skills with proven experience in successfully managing and executing multiple initiatives

  • Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation and management, supplier performance and relationship management, and category management preferred

Experience should include:

  • 3-5 years of strategic sourcing, or relevant experience with experience in accountable category areas

  • Understanding of key contracting concepts and legal terms

  • Working knowledge of business case development, evaluation, and presentation

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Process driven with good analytical and problem-solving skills

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $99,830.00 - $167,700.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
