You Are 

As an Accenture Security Senior Manager, you will be dedicated to creating product security solutions for clients in our Telecommunication Industry. A Security Senior Manager is a trusted advisor who builds and executes a client-focused vision, combining the best of Accenture Security and the power of One Accenture. You will work to build delivery teams that create maximum client value. Proactively build relationship with the client and Client Account Teams. Participate in account planning and stay engaged with accounts through account status calls, activities. You have experience leading teams, and you have the top-shelf communication, people, and management abilities to bring out the best in team members. 

You will bring new ideas to your client by growing your network across Accenture and understanding the new Thought Leadership Accenture is introducing to our clients. You will be responsible for identifying, leading and managing new complex security engagements, providing subject matter expertise, and drive delivery execution as the primary point of client escalation. You will build and manage a pipeline in the Telecommunication Industry, lead and support RFP responses for non-Priority accounts, and participate in monthly meetings with industry leads.  You will need to learn and be able to share Accenture Security’s Go to Market Strategy with clients.

The Work

Security Senior Managers are expected to possess extensive experience in the following:

  • Demonstrated thought leadership in cybersecurity in the Telecommunication Industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate past experiences, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in designing solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage business development / proposal efforts RFP/RFI/RFQ.

  • Demonstrated ability to deal with client business process and potential constraints (budget, timeline, expertise, etc.) to define optimal and reasonable project scope and expectations  .

  • Business development responsibilities including but not limited to origination, and relationship development. 

  • Working directly with clients and Accenture teams to design and implement program strategies for cybersecurity. Ability to manage expectations with clients and Accenture colleagues to be able to influence and guide towards successful outcomes.

  • Translating technical requirements into business terms for executive stakeholders. 

  • Selling Security and delivering services across multiple Security Product clients. 

  • Provide guidance and advisory support to project team and disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.

  • Mentor more junior team members in business analysis, project management, and Security best practices. 

  • Travel will be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 5 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here is What You Need

  • Minimum 5 years of experience /knowledge dealing with product security programs, including threat intelligence, global standards and compliance, and security trends in the Telecommunication Industry.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, product and software development lifecycle, project management principles and/or product quality methods (Agile) 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience/ability to lead and manage business development/proposal efforts RFP/RFI/RFQ.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 years work experience. 

Bonus points in you have

  • Industry recognized Professional Security certifications.

Professional Skills Requirement

  • Ability to lead a team and counsel others is a must

  • Experience in building client relationships utilizing strong communications skills (both verbal and written)

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience translating business objectives into actionable programs with defined scope, budget, and timeline.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
