Job Description

Position Highlights:

Treating a variety of illnesses brought on by extreme prematurity, chromosomal abnormalities, and multiple births, our Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) allows us to care for the sickest newborns. 35 bed unit with strong family centered care and single room setup. Work directly with Neonatologist.

  • Location: Naperville, IL
  • Full Time 36 hours
  • Hours: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM every 3rd weekend, 3 holidays required per year


A Brief Overview:
The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.

 

What you will need:

  • Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
    • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
  • Required 2 years of NICU RN experience
  • Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
  • Current BLS through AHA or ARC
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) within six months of start date into position
