Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive to assist with marketing initiatives for our duty-free retail division, AirAsia MOVE Duty-free. This role is critical to growing inflight sales through strategic crew engagement, brand activation, and product promotion. You will work closely with cabin crew, commercial teams, and brand partners to build excitement and awareness around our duty free offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Crew Engagement & Training:
Develop and deliver engaging training programs for cabin crew on duty free products and sales techniques.
Design and implement incentive campaigns to motivate crew performance and improve sales.
Act as the key liaison between the marketing team and cabin crew to ensure alignment and feedback loops.
Marketing Campaigns & Brand Promotion:
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote duty free products across onboard and digital channels.
Collaborate with brand partners to coordinate product launches, special promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
Develop marketing materials including product guides, crew newsletters, and digital content.
Event Participation & Product Championing:
Represent the duty free business at internal crew roadshows, product showcases, and external retail events.
Lead or support product demonstration sessions to generate excitement and drive product knowledge.
Champion best-selling and high-margin products through storytelling and marketing insight.
Performance Monitoring & Insights:
Track and report on marketing effectiveness and sales performance.
Provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns, crew engagement strategies, and product focus.
Support data-driven decision-making to increase onboard revenue.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Any marketing experience, preferably in retail, travel retail, airline, or FMCG sectors or fresh graduates.
Strong understanding of retail marketing, promotional strategy, and consumer engagement.
Experience with training, sales enablement, or internal communications is a strong plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—comfortable working closely with cabin crew and cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, energetic, and passionate about aviation and retail.
Flexibility to travel occasionally and attend events as required.
Basic graphic design skills is an added advantage
