The successful candidate for this position will be the over-all in-charged of the Payroll General Ledger Accounting function for our Philippines and Thailand entities’ payrolls which includes: Preparation of general ledger journal entries, Balance sheet reconciliations, Month end close activities, Fringe accounting, Weekly Payroll cash forecasting and monthly Cash Flow hedging.  In addition the Candidate will support the Global Payroll GL team with ad hoc reporting and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of general ledger journal entries for payroll, statutory remittances and accrual accounts for vacation, bonuses and employee benefits;
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet account reconciliation on employees’ accounts
  • Preparation of Weekly Cash forecast and Monthly Cash Flow Hedging for payroll related expenses including variance analysis of actual versus cash forecast;
  • Monthly pre-flux and Quarterly flux analysis for movements of Payroll Balance Sheet and P&L accounts;
  • Reconciliation of key payroll accounts including taxes, government statutory and loan accounts;
  • Reconciliation of Employees Advances accounts including Social Security Maternity and Sickness Benefit advance and other employee accountabilities;
  • Fringe Accounting
  • Preparation and analysis of Annual Fringe Budget Rate for Corporate Finance Planning
  • Responsible for Pre and Post Payroll audits
  • Data collection for internal and external audits requirements
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Partner with HR and Business leads and Payroll to resolve payroll/payroll accounting related issues
