Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Provide Tier 1 support to the laboratory including answering questions and providing technical support to management  and laboratory personnel as necessary.

  • Assist with preparing  LIMS stability studies for all incoming new product set downs, including both release and process validation samples. 

  • Assist with creation of LIMS Product Specifications, Item Codes, and related LIMS components for all new products.

  • Assist with revising LIMS Product Specifications, Item Codes, and related LIMS components for all Specification changes.

  • Apply LIMS Product Specification changes to existing samples in the Research and Development Chemistry laboratory.

  • Assist with Stability Management duties as assigned.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. Labware LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and/or pharma experience preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

  • Must possess knowledge of GXPs, 21 CFR, and health authority requirements.  Must be able to understand and adhere to government regulations, and company and departmental policies and procedures.  Familiarity with Viatris product testing methods and specifications a plus.

  • Must possess good communication, technical writing and documentation, reading, comprehension, time management, and computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.  Must be accurate, detail oriented, and possess the ability to multi-task.  Excellent organizational and deductive reasoning skills are essential.  Must be able to work and interact well with other employees at all levels.

  • Ability to read and interpret general business documents.  Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence.  Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.

  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates. Ability to interpret graphs and data sets.

  • Ability to solve practical problems through standardized solutions that require limited judgment.  Ability to follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve routine problems.

  • Typically sitting at a desk or table. Intermittently sitting, standing, walking or stooping.  May be required to bend; kneel; and climb steps.  May require use of hands and use of arms.  Sedentary lifting requirements.
