Job Summary

The Senior Director, Talent Management and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) will drive the execution of Arch’s Talent Management strategy, which has at its foundation the value of fostering and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workforce. The successful candidate will accomplish this by leading efforts to embed D&I principles seamlessly into all our Talent Management programs, processes and practices, while driving talent management and D&I global initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with excellent HRBP background and a passion for D&I.

This individual contributor role will report to the SVP, Talent Management and D&I. This role can sit remote with a strong preference for those in the NY/CT metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Takes ownership and accountability for ongoing Talent Management and D&I activities globally and supports specified objectives identified annually in collaboration with Employee Network leaders.

  • Manages talent management initiatives, such as:

    • Performance Management training and change management

    • 360 Assessments and vendor management

    • Mentoring Program

    • Employee Networks

    • High Potential development

    • Talent Acquisition liaison for external partnerships

  • Builds and manage project plans with key milestones and timelines. 

  • Proactively engages stakeholders and prepare regular stakeholder updates on project plans and results.

  • Partners closely with HRBPs to ensure alignment between the COE and business talent initiatives.

  • Curates and manages D&I content for Arch, managing vendor relationships, course offerings, metrics, etc.   

  • Advises on how to embed D&I practices to core HR programs, processes, tools and resources. Work collaboratively with colleagues across HR and the business to drive adoption through manager and HR education.

  • Provides leadership, support and guidance to Arch’s Employee Networks. Develop and provide tools and resources to simplify access and support momentum of the Networks. Provides oversight to D&I events.

  • Stays current on new and emerging thought leadership and best practices in Talent Management and D&I and shares knowledge. Demonstrate a “continuous learner” mind set by actively looking to academia, the market and to external experts and peers on subject matter to progress Arch’s Talent Management and D&I agenda.

  • Leads special projects across Talent Management space as needed.

Required Skills and Experience

  • HR Business Partner background with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to lead and manage complex projects – on time and budget

  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and be organized while working independently and with teams

  • Strong customer focus, collaboration and relationship building skills

  • Ability to excel in an environment with ambiguity and works fluidly across a broad team to influence, lead and support activities across dotted line relationships.

  • Ability to lead and facilitate discussions and meetings at various levels

  • Experience operating in a global environment

Required Education/Experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 10+ years in Human Resources, including strong business partner experience

  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills; comfort level with social media

  • Experience leading Employee Networks

  • Experience supporting Talent Management initiatives in a global company

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

$123,845 - $169,625/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
