The Leidos Office of Technology (OOT) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Technology Transition team.  As a Product Manager, you’ll directly support a portfolio of technology capabilities, leading those capabilities from Research & Development through deployment and into Operation & Maintenance. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in product management, possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and be able to establish solid working relationships with technical staff members and peers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure R&D Technology capabilities deliver current and future product roadmap commitments.
• Communicate highly innovative technologies to diverse stakeholder community comprising all Sectors and parts of Leidos (Commercial & International, Defense Systems, Digital Modernization, Health & Civil, National Security, Leidos Innovation Center, Chief Growth Office, and Chief Performance Office).
• Establish effective collaboration that prioritizes technology need from an enterprise perspective while balancing cost, schedule, and other constraints.
• Own key strategic decisions and orchestrate cross-functional relationships across management,  engineering, and key stakeholders across the enterprise.
• Defining product/service value propositions for offerings.  Create marketing materials with business case and technical specifications for proposed products and product features.
• Drive product strategies through product roadmaps that meet customer needs and competitive positioning and execute on these plans.
• Lead voice-of-customer activities and drive solutions within the product offerings.
• Define product/service value propositions for offerings
• Manage sustainment and product improvement initiatives.
• Lead product certification and accreditation activities.
• Own multiple capabilities through the entire product lifecycle.
• Challenge the organization to drive technical and process innovations and robust solution development into the current portfolio of contracts and customers.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years of experience leading and managing technology development
• At least 3 years of technical product management experience
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical background with a degree in engineering or computer science
• Familiarity with product management and development operations tools (e.g., Atlassian suite)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Prior hands-on software development experience
• Experience in software development, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and/or cybersecurity
• SAFe Agile certification or Scrumaster certification
• Experience managing technical teams

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
