College Intern - Electrical Hardware Engineering

Description -

What a College Intern - Electrical Hardware Engineering does at HP:

  • Acquires practical experience working on Electronics/Electrical Design & Testing.
  • ​Work closely with R&D team to develop practical test board in a true R&D environment based on required product requirement.
  • Generating useful test scripts to support an automated test environment.

Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:

  • Electrical or Electronics Engineering undergraduate or relevant education background.
  • Able to commit to a 5 to 6-month full-time internship, starting in Jan 2025.
  • Basic knowledge in CAD software for schematic capture.
  • Basic programming know-how and hand-on experience.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills. 
  • Able to work independently (self-driven) and within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of electronic principles.

Interest in one or more of the following areas:

  • Electronics Circuit & System Design.
  • PCB design and Fabrication of Test board.
  • Test Automation development using scripting ( e.g Python/Visual Basic ).
  • Practical experience in AI/ ChatGPT application development to support engineering problem analysis.
