Job Description:

Our analysts drive the organization in the use and adoption of data in today’s evolving healthcare environment. As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be part of a community of developers and analysts who work collaboratively to meet all reporting and analytics needs.

They will be detail-oriented, passionate about using data to solve problems in healthcare, and able to think creatively and plan strategically. They will maintain and promote advanced knowledge of industry standards and best practices. Key responsibilities for this position include working with stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements, setting expectations on deliverables, extracting data elements from various sources, designing and building structured tables, and working with team members to ensure we are delivering timely, accurate, and robust data and insights to our partners.

They will also build dashboards and conduct analyses to provide information and insights that contribute to sound strategic planning, decision-making, goal setting, and effective performance measurement.

Required Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • 2 or more years of previous work-related experience
  • Experience with data warehouses and healthcare EMR systems

Preferred Criteria:

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, organizational, time management, written and verbal communications skills. 
  • Ability to distill and present analytic results to various audiences through different methods of visualization
  • Have excellent attention to detail, patience and a positive, customer centric attitude
  • Maintain a favorable work environment for all team members and clients
  • Represent the department team in user meetings and perform project management duties as needed. Work with other departments to understand their needs
  • Strong understanding of data design, architecture, data warehouses and health care EMR systems, relational databases and data modeling
  • Strong experience with SQL or other relational database structures
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
  • Epic Clarity data model certification (or attainment within 6 months of employment)
  • Degree or major in Computer Science, or related field
  • Ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Participates in business requirement meetings to gather objectives, required elements and present experienced solutions.
  • Researches, designs and develops innovative analysis and reports/dashboards to further enhance enterprise and department's capabilities, including but not limited to patient care and quality improvement.
  • Experience with analytics focused on revenue, budgeting, and financial planning a plus.

Salary Range:

$95,500-$156,500/Annual
